Examples describe a configuration to prepare. They are neither executable commands nor a production API contract.
Prepare your first project
From business goals to a usable configuration.
- 01
List applications, users, normal load and peaks. Separate production, staging and development.
- 02
Choose a service, then specify CPU, RAM, storage, networking and backup. Add desired operational options.
- 03
Review the cart before requesting a quote. Confirm availability, final price, location, licences and responsibilities with your contact.

project: web-production
environments: [production, staging]
owner: infrastructure-team
backup_policy: to-define
Open serviceSize a VPS
Choose resources and prepare repeatable deployment.
- 01
Start with memory use, data volume and process count. Allow headroom for updates and peaks.
- 02
Prepare SSH access, updates and firewall rules before publicly exposing the application.
- 03
Choose extra IPv4 addresses, backup and on-call coverage if needed. Validate recovery and measure load after startup.

service: vps
vcpu: 2
ram_gb: 4
disk_gb: 40
public_services: [https]
Open servicePrepare a dedicated server
Hardware, disks and networking: choose a coherent setup.
- 01
Compare processors, cores, RAM and disks by family. Match the workload: compute, databases or storage.
- 02
Check compatible disk, RAM and bandwidth options. RAID improves tolerance to disk failures; it does not replace backup.
- 03
Specify operating system, licences, IPs and private networking. Confirm available hardware, installation and interventions before activation.

service: dedicated
storage_role: database
raid: to-confirm
private_network: if-compatible
backup: separate-location
Open serviceDesign your network
Separate uses and document allowed flows.
- 01
Build a non-overlapping address plan for applications, databases, administration and backup.
- 02
For each flow, define source, destination, port, protocol and purpose. Restrict administrative interfaces to intended access.
- 03
Verify private-network compatibility, public bandwidth, IPv4 and routing. The map provides geographic context, not evidence of customer traffic.

Open serviceBuild a backup plan
Retention, consistency and tested recovery.
- 01
Inventory files, databases, configuration and secrets needed for recovery. Identify what requires a consistent backup.
- 02
Set RPO/RTO objectives, frequency and retention with business owners. Plan capacity and storage location.
- 03
Restore in an isolated environment, verify data and application startup, then record results and corrections.

retention_days: 30

restore_test: scheduled
rpo_rto: agreed-with-owner
Open serviceScope an audit or pentest
Turn a security need into a verifiable engagement.
- 01
Identify included servers, applications, APIs, networks and accounts. State exclusions and sensitive environments.
- 02
Define written authorisation, testing window, emergency contacts and stop conditions before any intervention.
- 03
Plan reporting, remediation priorities and retesting. Selected modules define the quote; they do not launch tests.

scope: [web-application, api]
authorization: required
test_window: to-agree
retest: requested
Open servicePrepare a payment integration
Describe flows, events and responsibilities.
- 01
List countries, currencies, volume, methods and flows: one-off payment, subscription, refund or marketplace.
- 02
Prepare idempotent event handling, signature verification, retry recovery and reconciliation with orders.
- 03
Confirm APIs, acquirer, merchant onboarding and applicable fees. Reference material and sandbox screens are distinct from an activated production API.

verify_signature: true
deduplicate_by_event_id: true
reconcile_order: true
log_card_data: false
Open serviceOrganise a migration
Prepare transfer, verification and rollback.
- 01
Inventory data, dependencies, certificates, DNS and integrations. Prepare a usable backup before changes.
- 02
Test the destination, define a cutover window and rollback criteria. Assign an owner to every check.
- 03
After cutover, check access, data consistency, scheduled jobs, logs and backups before closing the migration.

owner: project-team
validation: application-checklist
rollback: documented
backup_before_change: required
Open serviceINTEGRATION / REFERENCE
Explore an integration
Review each reference scope before designing an integration. Test environments and activated services have distinct conditions.
